RAF Lancaster comes over Trafford on its way to Woodford today.

The RAF Lancaster flew low over the Sale area today Aug 11th coming from Blackpool to Woodford.

In Walton Park at around 2.45pm many people looked up in awe of this gigantic aircraft which was flyimg at around 2000ft.

The aircraft was flying from the Blackpool Airshow and has since landed at Woodford.

Manchester Airport was the first place where the Lancaster bomber prototype first took off in 1941.

At this time only two Lancaster bombers remain from a total of 7.377.
