Trafford police are asking members of the public to report off road bikers as soon as they can.
Off road bikers have been seen in numbers in the Sale area and throughout Trafford often wearing no protection and behaving in a manner that could cause a serious accident.
Riding these off road bikes on parks and green spaces is also very intimidating for people who just want to walk the dog or just to get away from the rat race for a few moments.
Police need you to get on the phone as soon as you can so they have an idea where the bikers are, if you happen to know where they are coming from or know someone who is breaking the law you can contact Crimestoppers if you do not want to give any details about yourself.
We are aware of bikes ripping up Turn Moss and Lonford Park in Stretford, and around the Partington area, often they are seen in Flixton and Urmston, in recent times reports came in to us of around 15 guys on off road bikes riding the wrong way down Washway Road in Sale some doing wheelies!
For the safety of the bikers themselves and for other people it is important that you contact police.
Contact police on 101 or anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
