The FA Cup 3rd round throws up some interesting games

The FA cup is without any doubts the best domestic cup competition in the UK and all the big names are in the hat for the third round.

It is a chance for the lower league clubs to show them how good they are, and sometimes they beat the bigger names.

This years draw did not go that great for Ole’s struggling Manchester United side who are to play Wolves away, United can win anyone on the day if everyone is up for it, sadly of late United players have just been standing around rather than moving which obviously makes things harder to actually win a game.

The next couple of games could make or break Ole and we could see a new manager installed just in time for the FA Cup draw at Wolves with Pochettino the ex-Spurs manager the name that crops up time and time again, people have opinions and it seems more of the fans are wanting a change of manager.

On the blue side of the town Pep’s blue army have had a topsy turvy start to the season and continue to under perform, we think they will buy a top class defender to stop the rot in the January transfer window.

Manchester City play Port Vale at the Ethihad which with respect to Port Vale is seen as an easy game for pep’s men.

Other games of interest:

  • Arsenal v Leeds
  • Liverpool v Everton
  • Middlesborough v Tottenham
  • Chelsea v Nottingham
  • Leicester City v Wigan
  • Fulham v Aston Villa
  • Crystal Palace v Derby

The Liverpool v Everton match will be a good one, can Everton do one over high flying Liverpool who are winning everything at the moment.

Arsenal v Leeds should be an easy one for whoever is in charge of Arsenal, although in a one off game the men from Leeds could do a number on them.

All games will be played from 3-6 January 2020.
