Police were called shortly before 10am following a collision on Carrington Spur, between a Lamborghini Gallardo and a Vauxhall Astra.
There are no reports of injuries and no arrests have been made.
The road is has now fully reopened. It was closed for a period of time to allow barrier assessment and recovery.
Enquiries are ongoing.
