Trafford Stroke Rehabilitation Unit at Trafford General Hospital leaps into national Top 10
Trafford Stroke Rehabilitation Unit (TSRU) at Trafford General Hospital has been ranked among the top 10 Stroke Units in the country according to a national audit body.
The ranking is based on data gathered via the Sentinel Stroke National Audit Programme (SSNAP), a national audit programme that measures performance in a wide range of areas that reflect the multidisciplinary nature of stroke rehabilitation.
The unit is now ranked within the top 10 in the country, a significant increase from a previous ranking of 70th.

“We’re delighted to share the news that Trafford Stroke Rehabilitation Unit has been ranked so highly nationally. The results are a testament to the cohesive team working that seeks to support our patients, their families and carers during their stay on the ward.”
