One Trafford has delayed a bridge and footpath closure in Broadheath.
Originally set for 5 March 2020 it has since been delayed until 16 March 2020, it as noted also no signs are placed at the Washway Road entrance this time around.
We did mention that the path did not have to fully close as work was only going to happen to the small bridge, people and dog walkers could still use the path that goes along Sinderland Brook out towards the A56 from Woodhey’s Park.
It was also asked why it would take so long just to put an anti slip surface to the bridge and just some general maintenance with no response from One Trafford.
Residents all around will be understanding of making sure the bridge is secure however it does not take two weeks to do this type of work so causing an unnecessary inconvenience.
