Snooker legend Willie Thorne dies aged 66.
The former snooker player revealed in March that he had Leukaemia, things turned for the worse sometime last week when he was admitted to hospital with low blood pressure and was placed in an induced coma,
Doctors tried hard to save him however Thorne was not responding to any treatment and they decided to turn of all machines, it is thought he died from septic shock.
Thorne died peacefully with all his family around him at around 2am on 17 June 2020.
Snooker player Stephen Hendry tweeted “Very sad news today, Willie was one of my favourite people in snooker. I know he had faults and weaknesses (we all do) but he was one of the games greatest characters, I’ll miss him.
