The Masonic Hall on Tatton Road in Sale could be demolished if plans are approved for a new fully affordable housing development.
Once the hall has been demolished 29 new flats will be built offering many much needed one and two bedroom flats in a desirable location.
Southway Housing will take over once the flats have been built and from the documents seen all will be affordable.
Due to Metrolink and good public transport links no car park is proposed for this development.
Once built the new housing development will be slightly smaller in height than the Masonic Hall, the will look ultra modern and will come with cycle storage.
Having already paid over £13,000 to the council and the dire need for this type of accommodation in Trafford it seems likely this development will be approved.
