Teenage boy charged after firearm recovered in the Sale area of Trafford
A 17-year-old boy from South Manchester has been charged after a firearm was recovered by police.
The boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was charged with single counts of possession of a firearm, and possession of ammunition for a firearm without a certificate.
He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear today (Wednesday 16 December) at Manchester Youth Court.
In the early hours of Tuesday 15 December, police attended a property that was suspected on breaching COVID regulations in the Sale area of Trafford.
