
A Sikorsky S-92A helicopter was seen by many people over the Sale area flying only a couple of hundred feet at around 3.30pm this afternoon (22 December 2020).
The helicopter used mostly by the coastguard first took off from Caernarfon Airport flew a few loops over Manchester and was seen very low near the Bridgewater Canalin Sale.
Residents came out to have a look as the noise got louder from the hovering aircraft.
The helicopter mostly used for the coastguard can also be used as a transporter aircraft, and one version of this type of helicopter is for the military, it is not known if the aircraft ever landed.
A spokesperson for Vuelio said: ” the HM Coastguard search and rescue helicopter from Caernarfon was out for routine training in the vicinity yesterday afternoon.”
