Trafford residents are being invited to apply for new apprenticeship opportunities this week thanks to a new initiative from Trafford Housing Trust.
The new roles have been announced as part of National Apprenticeship Week, which starts on Monday (8 February), and are available through the Trust’s Academy. They offer work-based learning opportunities through apprenticeships and work placements regardless of age or experience, from school leavers to those wanting a change in career or a fresh start.
There are apprentice and graduate opportunities throughout the business and at all levels, from plastering to IT and HR.
As a result of the pandemic, National Apprenticeship Week and its annual exhibition is a virtual event, so anyone interested can sign up for free to view a wide range of nation-wide apprenticeship opportunities by visiting https://nas.vfairs.com. The Virtual Fair will have a variety of employers showcasing careers, apprenticeships and providing webinars, Q&As and much more.
Trafford Housing Trust’s webinar ‘Insights into Apprenticeships at Trafford Housing Trust’ will be shown at 2.30pm on 10th February, followed by a live Q&A session, and colleagues from the Trust will be available for an online chat between 11am and 6pm.
Emily Price, Organisational Development Advisor at Trafford Housing Trust, said: “We’re really excited about our new apprenticeship roles, and in particular the wide and varied types of jobs available, which will make a real difference to candidates whether they are just starting their careers or looking for a change of direction. It doesn’t matter if you have just left school or in the twilight of your working life, there are opportunities for apprenticeships throughout the business.”
