Little girl from Timperley delivers sweet treats and flowers to a care centre in Sale for ‘Random Acts of Kindness Day’

7-yyear-old Darcie Carey from Timperley delivers some teats for residents

To celebrate Random Acts of Kindness Day (17 Feb 2021), the team at Philosophy PR treated the residents at Ashlands Manor Care Centre, in Sale, to a selection of sweet treats including boxes of chocolates and tins of biscuits.  Bunches of fresh flowers, such as daffodils and tulips, were also delivered by seven year old Darcie Carey, from Timperley, to brighten up the residents’ day.

Ashlands Manor, located on Ashlands, is operated by Altrincham-based New Care.  It is a stunning purpose built, state-of-the-art 57 bed care facility that provides an exceptional clinical offering, including residential, nursing and specialist dementia care services.

With 100% occupancy, all 57 residents will be able enjoy today’s gifts, which senior carer Angela O’Driscoll received from Darcie, the daughter of Philosophy PR director, Gemma Carey.

Angela says: “It was wonderful to receive chocolates, biscuits and flowers out of the blue from Darcie.  The residents will love the treats and always enjoy seeing fresh flowers around the home.  Such a simple gesture will put a smile on their faces today.”
