Your Housing Group who decided to close Gilmour House on Wood Lane a couple of years back has now decided to reopen the building to all of its customers.
The change of heart comes as many people have requested that face to face contact is much better than using email or the phone to communicate with staff, the reopening of Gilmour House will benefit the elderly or those who do not have internet access.
On 19 May 2021 you will be able to come along on a Wednesday or Thursday between 8am until 5pm , the housing group though will have a Covid secure situation in place and they say depending on how many people are present social distancing will apply which will mean you may have to queue outside.
The housing association could withdraw plans if government moves the goal posts again,although this is unlikely at this time.
