Waterstones at the Trafford Centre has announced a series of exciting book signings, featuring famous faces from the worlds of TV, music and books.

On 21st September at 2pm, winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race, Lawrence Chaney, will be signing copies of their hilarious memoir, Drag Queen of Scots: The Dos & Don’ts of a Drag Superstar. Showcasing valuable life lessons and the tricks of the trade, the book is told in Chaney’s trademark charming style and is a testament to the strength that comes from drag.

On 27th September at 4:30pm, multi-platinum-selling artist Anne-Marie will be signing copies of her book You Deserve Better, in which she draws on her own experiences to help readers tackle life’s challenges, embrace opportunities and celebrate their successes. You Deserve Better doesn’t give fluffy promises about self-care, but instead speaks honestly about body image, mental health, being successful at work and more. It’s the real advice that every person needs to hear to be happier in themselves and the world.

On Saturday 20th November at 1:30pm, best-selling and multi award-winning children’s author/illustrator Rob Biddulph will be signing copies of his new book An Odd Dog Christmas. Many fans will also have enjoyed his entertaining #DrawWithRob videos throughout lockdown.

Zoe Inman, Centre Director at The Trafford Centre, said: “We are delighted to see the return of book signings to the centre. Historically, Waterstones has hosted a fantastic array of authors at these popular events. These are the first book signing events the centre has hosted since reopening and they mark another exciting step forwards for the stores and visitors alike.”

Tickets to the signings range in price and include a copy of the relevant book for each event. All book signings are ticket-only events, to find out more or to purchase tickets, visit https://www.waterstones.com/events
