The residents in Sale can have a say on proposals to build a full sized artificial 3G football pitch at Crossford Bridge in Sale.

Both Trafford Council and Crossford Bridge Management Association (CBMA) have been working together to improve facilities at the location.

The plans are for the full sized fenced off pitch to be built nearest the M60 motorway which will ease any peoples concerns who live around Crossford Bridge.

With the Football foundation also involved all are keen to hear the views of residents and business in the area which you can do by clicking here: https://trafford.citizenspace.com/people/crossford-bridge-site-improvements/

The consultation will run from October 11 until October 31, a further consultation will begin later in the year when more is known about the proposals.

Cllr Elizabeth Patel, Trafford Council’s Executive Member for Culture and Leisure, said:

“The Council has been in close consultation with the CBMA on the proposals and we are now seeking the views of the local residents.

We want to know exactly what you think and will of course take every view into account. Residents can be assured that they will be consulted with at every step as we continue discussions surrounding these proposals. We want as many resident as possible to provide us with their views.”

The proposed football pitch though could cause some people to believe Trafford College will also use the facility meaning the football pitch at the back of the college in Altrincham will be removed making way for apartments.
