It is that time again when the UK time zone goes back one hour in the early hours of Halloween.

We will see the light fade away sharply and safety comes to mind as more accidents on our roads happen at this time of year and motorists are reminded to slow down more so when its raining.

Much debate has been done about keeping the UK in BST so to save many lives on our roads, it is still being debated however it could become a thing one day in the future.

We suggest cyclists, runners and pedestrians to be wearing hi vis clothing during the long dark nights, and good lighting is essential, this should also be worn for runners and a little for pedestrians.

The clocks officially go back at 2am on 31 October 2021.
