Miller Homes is currently bringing new homes to Stretford at its Novus development, and is today giving a first-look into the apartments and its exclusive sky garden.

The development is set on the former Itron gas meter factory, and is representative of the extensive regeneration taking place in Stretford, breathing a new lease of life into the area. After launching last year, currently, a number of apartments are available for sale at Novus, with prices starting from just £165,500.

All apartments within Stello House and Libertas House will benefit from access to the private sky garden, which is being revealed to the public for the first time.

Likely to be a popular feature for residents, there will be pergolas with space to eat, drink and socialise, as well as a number of benches as well as flowers and foliage for guests of the development to enjoy.

A report published by the RSPB and WWF in October this year said green building installations such as the Novus sky garden should be more widely adopted due to the crucial role that they play in improving biodiversity and filtering air pollution. A trend that began back in the early 2000s, the UK Green Building Council has now called for new buildings and infrastructure to include nature-based solutions by 2030.

On the fringes of the city centre, Novus has become a feature point of Stretford. Within walking distance of Media City and Metrolink stations, the development has attracted a wealth of first time buyers, including young professionals, to the area – supporting the regeneration of Stretford.

Images also released by Miller Homes give a look into its spacious ‘Type D’ apartment, the first time it has been available to view in such a way. The two bedroom, two bathroom home is priced from £235,000, includes a parking space, flooring, a fitted wardrobe in the principal bedroom, downlighters throughout and an equipped kitchen with integrated appliances.

The new apartments will be ready to move in to throughout 2022, with the show apartment and sales centre open and available to visit 7 days a week between 10:30am and 5:30pm. Development Sales Managers are on hand to discuss what’s available at the development, and homes are up for pre-reservation online now.

Several apartments at Novus are available with Help to Buy, meaning purchasers can reserve a brand new apartment, up to the value of £224,400, with just a 5% deposit using the government backed scheme.

More can be found out about Novus online by visiting the Miller Homes website at, or by calling 03330 600 059. Appointments and pre-reservations can also be made online.
