Miller Homes, currently building new homes in Stretford at its Novus development, is bringing festive joy to local children this Christmas with a donation of over 200 chocolate selection boxes to Variety the children’s charity, also based in Stretford.
The charity provides child-focused support, helping disabled and disadvantaged children with physical or social development. It ensures care needs are met and in turn, contributes to improving a child’s mental health and wellbeing, giving them a much brighter future.
After the hardships of the last year, the need for support of such charities is needed now more than ever. The usual struggles faced by some families at this time of year, are made worse by the pandemic. Miller Homes has been working with Variety for a number of years, including running yearly Easter egg drives and making other donations in the past too.
Lyn Staunton, North West Development Director for Variety, comments: “We are so very grateful for all the support and kindness given to Variety from everyone at Miller Homes. Because of their generosity, more children will wake up with a smile on their face this Christmas.”
Clare Noakes, Sales Director for Miller Homes in the North West, adds: “We were delighted to work with Variety again which is so close to our Novus development, we are passionate about supporting this integral asset of the Stretford community.”
