Football fans from all teams are invited to attend a remembrance event at Old Trafford on 6 February to mark the 64th anniversary of the Munich Air Disaster.
The air disaster which killed 23 people including 8 Manchester United players died along with some staff and journalists on the flight was one of the worst aviation disasters of them times.
Every year over a thousand people get together to remember those that died in the disaster, Elaine Giles and Mike Thomas organise the annual remembrance events at Old Trafford in partnership with Manchester United.
In the past managers and players with Manchester United staff have stood shoulder to shoulder with those present to pay respects.
The event kicks off at around 2.40 pm and will start with the Rev John Boyers from Manchester United chaplain who will offer a mixture of poems, songs and reflections.
This event is completely free and no need to book, it is open to all which means you can pay your respects no matter who you support! The location is near to the Munich plaque at the East stand of the ground.
