Manchester United have today confirmed the appointment subject to visa of Erik Ten Hag who will be manager from next season.

Hag was the fans choice over PSG and former Spurs manager Pochettino, United needed to sort out compensation to Ajax which is believed to have cost a reported £2m.

Typed into the terms and conditions is something United fans will be delighted about and that is buying almost a new squad, with around 8 players needed for next season.

The current stand in manager Rangnick has confirmed the need to buy several new players and the need to get rid of some playing staff, it is widely thought Paul Pogba will move on after being slated by United fans in a recent game.

Matic will leave the club at the end of the season, he will find another club and play on for another couple of years or so, Mata is likely to leave for pastures new, its likely Jesse Lingard will be sold to Newcastle, other United players could end up in the North East which may include out of form Marcus Rashford.

Cavani as many know is to leave United at the end of the season, other players could be looking for new clubs in the summer.

The players Hag will sign is something of speculation, however they better be good enough as United look to return to the success of the past and with the possibility of more upgrades to the Old Trafford stadium where the capacity will increase to around 88,000 things are looking up for the mighty red army.

Erik ten Hag said: “It is a great honour to be appointed manager of Manchester United and I am hugely excited by the challenge ahead. I know the history of this great club and the passion of the fans, and I am absolutely determined to develop a team capable of delivering the success they deserve.

“It will be difficult to leave Ajax after these incredible years, and I can assure our fans of my complete commitment and focus on bringing this season to a successful conclusion before I move to Manchester United.”
