An incident took place on 17 May at around 9pm where a dog has attacked a teenage girl in Navigation Park in Altrincham.

The teenage girl aged 17 had been helping the owner of the dog to get its harness on when the dog viciously attacked the female, she was taken to hospital with substantial injuries to her face.

Police are now asking for the public to try and identify the owner of the dog who is approximately 70-years-old around 5ft 9 and he was wearing a brown leather jacket and a bobble hat, he had with him a walking stick.

The dog is described as a mixed breed white Labrador with a bit of ginger to its back it is believed to be 2-years-old, the dog was skinny.
