Manchester City have released the new 22/23 home kit today with some fans unhappy at the increase in price.

An adult replica shirt will cost £70 and a child £55, made by German sports firm Puma it is a blank sky blue shirt with sponsors logos on the front and on the arm, at the neck and sleeves has a maroon colour trim.

The shirt is designed to echo the classic designs of the past with a modern twist, the fabric is 100% DryCell polyester and is breathable to allow sweat to evaporate leaving you dry and comfortable.

All replica football shirts now will be £70 and the authentic one will be roughly £100, although it costs more the authentic shirt is much lighter and better quality with DryCell and Ultraweave technologies and of course it will be the exact same shirt as the players wear.

If you want a pair of shorts for an adult will set you back £35 and for a child £25.

Because of the financial issues that will only get worse through the year we suggest getting the kits from Sports Direct where if you spend over £100 online you get a £10 voucher back, that could increase to £15 if you collect from your nearest store although we have not tried this yet.

So if you are a Manchester City fan get yourself this brand new shirt just before the last game of the season.
