Greater Manchester Police Sex Offender Management Unit has helped put a man from Bowdon behind bars after we found he’d been breaching a Sexual Harm Prevention Order following a routine check.

Dante Ingham-Marsters devices showed that he was inciting sexual activity with a teenage girl via social media & he’s now been sentenced to over seven years in prison – with two years extended license.

According to MEN the man was believed to have been targeting the girl on social media giant TikTok.

Police have praised the individual who was the subject of the abuse for supporting the case and have ensured that she has received all necessary support throughout.

If you or someone you know has been raped or sexually assaulted, we encourage you not to suffer in silence and report it to the police, or a support agency so you can get the help and support available.
