Unions suspend rail strikes Northern will operate a normal timetable next week

Further to the announcement by the RMT and ASLEF trade unions that they have suspended planned strike action, Northern will now operate a normal timetable on all days next week.

The strikes were due to take place on Thursday 15th and Saturday 17th September.

Strike action by TSSA that was originally planned for 26 September has also been withdrawn.

Services from Liverpool to Manchester and vice versa will now be working as normal next week no other services to and from Manchester was affected, the majority of services that was due to be affected by the now suspended strike was in the Leeds area.

No further comments have been made due to the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
