Police arrest a woman following multiple reports of incidents on the Sale West Estate

Police have responded after multiple reports from members of the public about incidents on the Sale West Estate.

Whilst police have not yet said what incidents are taking place they are though saying the reports received have been made to them the past few days.

A woman has been arrested which happened yesterday evening (3 April 2023) on suspicion of possessing a bladed article in a public place, possession of a controlled substance, common assault, criminal damage and public order offences.

The woman who has not been named is currently in custody for questioning.

On Facebook some members of the community mentioned that the woman arrested may have mental health issues and she is in need of help from a broken mental health service not being locked up in a cell.
