Man dies on board a tram at Firswood Metrolink Station

A man has died on board a tram this morning (3 February 2024) at Firswood Metrolink Station

Emergency services attended the scene and despite best efforts of medical staff the man sadly died.

Metrolink was delayed for a while due to the medical emergency which occurred just before 9am this morning and a broken down tram in Manchester City Centre made things worse for passengers.

A spokesperson for Metrolink confirmed that a man had died on board the tram and offered condolences to the mans family and friends, and the same for the passengers on board this tram who overseen the entire incident which must have been distressing.
