A major incident has been declared after a chemical leak at a plant on Tenax Road in Trafford Park this morning (4 March)
A huge emergency response attended the scene and is currently dealing with the incident, as a result all roads have been closed in the area.

GMFRS (Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service) has asked other business and residents in the area to keep all windows and doors closed and for others to avoid the scene whilst crews carry out their work.
North West Ambulance service have checked over some people in the immediate area but all assessed do not require any further treatment.
It has been reported the chemical was phosphorus oxychloride which is an explosive chemical, if inhaled it can also cause kidney damage.
The incident is now over and no one was hurt in the chemical leak.
