Trafford MV Rugby will be supporting Sale Sharks this weekend as the Sharks travel to face Leicester Tigers in the Gallagher Premiership Play-Off semi-final on Saturday afternoon at 3:30 PM.
The Sale-based club will be opening its doors from 1:30 PM to local Sharks supporters who are not able to get to the match itself, so they can watch in a rugby club atmosphere. Tigers supporters are more than welcome too, as rugby hospitality and friendship will be at the forefront. Come along and join the Sharks in the Sea Of Blue!
There will be news from TMV shortly as the club waits to announce their new coaching team for the 2025/26 rugby season following the retirement of Head Coach Brian Collier at the end of last season, terminating a successful period in charge.
Pre-season training at the club will commence on Tuesday, July 8th, and the invitation is out there for any local rugby players looking to impress at a new club to get in touch with Jamie Butler at mensrugby@tmvrfcc.co.uk.
With a number of players having stepped back from 1st XV Rugby at the end of last season, there are openings in the squad to be filled by enthusiastic trainers and committed players. The club is looking to compete once again in Level 7 Rugby in Counties 1 ADM Lancashire & Cheshire of the Northern Division.
With excellent on and off-field facilities and an ambitious outlook, players will be able to make their mark in a squad that is keen to succeed and play at the highest level attainable. Get on board and join the challenge at Trafford MV Rugby Club.
