Bus smashed up on Washway Road in Sale

A 263 bus from Altrincham to Manchester City Centre has seen its windows smashed in an incident on Washway Road in Sale this afternoon.

Two police cars were at the scene with the passengers seen on the pavement. No ambulance was in attendance when one of our reporters got to the scene. A police officer told us there was no one hurt in the incident; a young male was later seen on the steps of the bus.

We contacted Greater Manchester Police about this incident but declined to comment.
