More than 30,000 festivalgoers expected as one of the North West’s fastest growing festivals prepares for its biggest year yet
With just a few weeks to go until The Brit Fest 2026, excitement is building across the North West as more than 30,000 festivalgoers prepare to descend on Cheshire for four days of live music, entertainment and celebration.
Taking place from Thursday 2 July to Sunday 5 July at Ashley Hall Showground, The Brit Fest has quickly established itself as one of the UK’s fastest growing festivals and one of the region’s biggest summer attractions.
The 2026 line up features Manchester legends Happy Mondays on Friday, Holly Johnson on Saturday and ABC featuring Martin Fry on Sunday, alongside Wet Wet Wet, Eternal, Peter Hook & The Light, Cast, Sleeper, Chris Helme, Space, Aswad, Stereo MC’s, The Farm, Let Loose, Nathan Moore, James Walsh, Jason Donovan and many more.
The festival opens on Thursday evening with Symphonic Ibiza featuring special guest Angie Brown.
Altrincham radio station ‘Radio Alty‘ will be live from the festival come and say Hello to the presenters.
Festival Co Founder Anthony Prophet said:
“We know from the messages we receive every year that people are already counting down the days. The excitement is building and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back.”
Alongside live music, visitors can enjoy camping, glamping, family attractions, artisan food and drink, boutique shopping and wellness experiences.
The festival also continues its commitment to charity partner Seashell and works extensively with regional suppliers and businesses throughout the North West.
With demand continuing to build, organisers are encouraging festivalgoers to secure their places soon.
The Brit Fest 2026 takes place from Thursday 2 July to Sunday 5 July.
