Police close off road in Urmston due to incident

Police have closed of a section of road in Urmston this afternoon (7 June) due to an on-going incident.

Station Road from Higher Road to Railway Road is currently closed and diversions are in place for people wanting to turn left onto Flixton Road.

Currently the 255 to and from Partington is being diverted down Chapel Lane.

We have contacted Greater Manchester Police for further information on what is happening and will further update this article when more is known.
