Warburton Toll Bridge incident: Woman rushed to hospital following reports of concern for welfare

Police attended Warburton Toll Bridge Road at around 7am on 17 June 2026 following reports for a concern for welfare.

A full emergency response turned up which reports say also included the Air Ambulance, they found a woman in her 40’s who was taken to hospital for her injuries.

A GMP spokesperson said: “Officers attended Warburton Bridge Road, Lymm, at around 7am today (June 17) following reports of a concern for welfare. One woman, aged in her 40s, was located at the scene and is currently being treated in hospital for her injuries.”
