Two stores in Trafford have suffered technical glitches with refrigeration today due to the heatwave.
Tesco in Partington has has technical issues with refrigerators which have been reported as having leaked, engineers are thought to be on their way to fix the issues, the store is now open.
Altrincham’s Tesco has also faced issues with its refrigeration today however due to it being a huge store its remained open although obviously it won’t be selling anything that requires refrigeration until the issues are fixed.
At the time of publishing all other Tesco stores in Trafford are coping, no issues for Sainsbury’s or Morrisons.
Tomorrow will be the biggest test of such infrastructure as it’s set to be even warmer with overnight temperature not going any lower than 25c in Manchester, good news for everyone is the temperature will start falling from Friday and will be a predicted 21c during the day and around 16c during the evening.
