Trafford Police worked with Trafford Council’s Community Safety Team to secure a partial closure order at a property on Bollin Avenue, Altrincham following ongoing reports of anti-social behaviour and other criminality.

A partial closure order lasts for 3 months but can be extended to 6 months and only the named people like the tenant, designated support workers, emergency services, or landlords) are allowed to enter the property

Anyone violating the order including unauthorised visitors—commits a criminal offence and faces arrest, imprisonment, or a fine, if the tenant violates the order and is convicted the landlord will use a section 8 notice.

The action taken at the property on Bollin Avenue is to protect the local community and prevent any further issues. The order places clear restrictions on who can enter the property, helping to reduce criminality and improve safety for nearby residents.

Officers  will continue to monitor the address and take further action where necessary.
