AskMyGP: Big changes for some Trafford patients from Monday

From 6 July Some GP surgeries in Trafford are changing from AskMyGP to Accurx which should make things easier for people to use.

You may have received a text message from your GP surgery telling you of the changes from Monday morning, you will get another message on Monday with a link for you to click on for more information.

You will be able to continue to use the NHS app.

In addition another new service will be introduced called Abtrace which will work hand in hand with Accurx freeing up GP time and helping other members of staff.

AI (Artificial Intelligence) is part of almost everything these days and these new steps whilst improving services could eventually mean job losses and more government control once Digital ID is in full swing.

The changes on Monday will not affect those surgeries who are still keeping with AskMyGP and all surgeries will always be open as normal.
