People who have used Housing Ombudsman to complain about any issue with a Housing Association have reported a third party cyber incident which is believed to be contained.
However some people’s information may have been stolen in the incident which we believe includes names, date of birth, address and mobile phone number. What is not known is how long systems had been breached for.
Whilst the incident is currently under investigation you are asked not to submit a new complaint, view an existing complaint, or use the webform until this investigation is complete.

The Housing Ombudsman is not a government department, its basically a housing advocacy service that deals with a range of things such as complaints about housing associations not doing the right things, breaching their own tenancy agreement or even for some not even understanding it.
