New VIP bowling lanes, an expanded arcade and an interactive gaming attraction transform the entertainment destination for families, friends and groups.

Namco Trafford Centre has unveiled a major refurbishment, introducing a refreshed look, new attractions and even more ways for visitors to play, compete and socialise.

Guests can now enjoy an upgraded bowling experience, complete with new VIP lanes and vibrant display screens, alongside a larger reception and bar area, refreshed attraction zones and redesigned social spaces. A Manchester Bee mural adds a local touch, while the significantly expanded arcade gives visitors a wider choice of video and prize games.

New additions include Hyper Grid, an interactive LED floor attraction that turns gaming into an immersive arena. Players can take part in tournament challenges, compete against others on site and see how their scores compare on local and global leaderboards.

Namco has also introduced Crane Crossing, a dedicated retail and prize offering inspired by popular Japanese entertainment, within the redesigned game layout.

For those planning their next visit, the venue is currently offering Bump & Bowl for £16.95 per person, combining bowling and dodgems. Available on Sundays and weekdays, the offer is one of a range of options for family days out, work parties and get-togethers with friends. Plus, look out for festive deals running throughout the Christmas period.

Simon Layton, Centre Director at Trafford Centre, said: “It’s fantastic to see Namco refreshed, with even more for visitors to enjoy when they come to Trafford Centre. Whether you’re looking for a fun family day out or somewhere to let off steam with friends, the new experiences make a visit to Namco even more exciting.”

Rob Cook, Location-based Operations Director at Bandai Namco Amusement Europe, said: “As our flagship venue, Trafford Centre was the natural choice to introduce the new Namco brand identity and showcase our investment in the future of family entertainment. This marks a bold next chapter for Namco in the UK, and we’re proud to be building on the venue’s heritage while creating a destination that reflects how people want to spend their leisure time today. We look forward to continuing to evolve the experience for our guests and delivering on our vision of ‘Fun for All into the Future’.”

Formerly Namco Funscape, the popular entertainment destination relaunched as Namco this Autumn, debuting its new look and feel at its flagship Trafford Centre location. The updated concept is set to roll out across its wider UK estate in the coming months.
