A nine-year-old child who is deaf and cannot speak was found on Edge Lane in Stretford this morning at around 9.45am.
Because of his disabilities, the child was unable to give any information to the officers, although police found him, no one has reported him missing.
The description given about the child is that he is a black male, wearing light blue jeans which are torn, with a black leather jacket, he has dark curly hair and dark eyes.
He is in safe hands at Stretford police station.
