LED Street Lights In Partington Causing Problems For Residents And Road Users

The new street lighting scheme put in place to save the council money has not gone down very well with residents.

News4trafford reporter went down to see for himself what was going on, and he told us that the lights were making his vision go funny, it had many dark spots and did not like it one bit, the picture above shows you how bad the lighting is.

Other residents have told us they do not like it, many saying it is too dark now, a motorist told us that he could not see well enough even though his eyesight is perfect, he also said it was to dark which could result in an accident.

The Led lights costing a reported £9m but saving a few thousand pounds will be rolled out all over Trafford.

We contacted both Trafford Labour councillors for a response on key issues in the area and both have so far not responded.
