Armed Robbery At A Mcolls Shop On Coppice Avenue In Sale

An armed robbery took place on Dec 9 at around 7am at Mcolls/Martins on Coppice Avenue in Sale, which we are now told all three offenders have been caught.


Three men one-armed with a knife went into the Mcolls shop and threatened staff, they forced staff to the back of the shop, before stealing money from the till and cigarettes from the display, they then made off.

Police believe the offenders used an orange Nissan Juke car and are keen to speak to anyone who saw the car in the area the day before, or perhaps leaving the scene, it was later found burnt out nearby.

All three men were wearing dark clothes and face coverings, the man with the knife is described as white, 5ft 8ins tall and of slim build.

Detective Constable Amy Coleman of GMP’s Trafford Borough said: “Staff were left shaken after being threatened by men armed with a knife and it is vital we catch those responsible.

“I am keen to speak to any witnesses who saw the trio fleeing the scene, or saw the Nissan Juke in the area.”
