Stagecoach has revealed the new changes on many of its buses in Greater Manchester and the 255 from Partington did not escape the changes.

The changes take place on the 29th of January, the 256 which has seen some lengthy delays last year will also be changing.
With the new Carrington village due to officially start soon, Manchester Road will start to get a little bit more busier so expect delays once the green light for the development gets the green light at a planning meeting held very soon.
You can read all about the changes to the 255 service HERE the PDF gives you first the timetable up to the 29th and then the new timetable,

Hi Anthony, We got this information from Stagecoach and did the article to inform everyone, although expect delays to the service once Himor start building the new Carrington village, and worse once completed, since Manchester Rd will be at a standstill, then the 550 new homes near to Lock Lane being built at some point this year, putting added strain on the area and not just Traffic, the pollution will rise even further than it is now! your doctors will not be able to cope, everything will come to a grinding halt.
