Police Say Incident In Hulme Is Now Over

Police were called to reports of a suspicious package at a college in Hulme and not Trafford as Police first reported.

Roads were closed around Mancunian Way, Limby Street and Jackson Street for a time whilst the EOD (Explosive Ordinance Disposal Unit) checked out the package at a college.

Police have now confirmed that the package was not suspicious and all roads have now been re-opened.
