The little boy who was a huge Sunderland fan and was a mascot and best pals with Jermain Defoe sadly passed away this afternoon July 7.

Bradley had a rare form of cancer called ‘neuroblastoma’ he went for treatment in the United States before returning to the UK for more treatment, his cancer was in remission for a time, before it hit him again which this time no treatment would work.

In recent days Bradley became more and more unwell, his breathing rapid, and temperature was rocketing, until he passed away with all his family around him.

Neuroblastoma is a condition that mostly affects children under 5 and affects around 100 children every year, you can find out more about this cancer HERE
