Emergency services were called out shortly before 6am  on Aug 30 to reports of a motorcyclist being trapped after hitting a tree.

Firefighters attended from Irlam and cut free the motorcyclist with a ‘Dewalt saw’

The motorcyclist was then taken to hospital after being treated by paramedics at the scene.

Emergency services remained at the scene for up to an hour after the collision.
