As the ex-hurricane hits Ireland with gusts of over 80mph, the storm will move north covering all of Ireland before it turns towards Scotland and North East England.
Because this is a gigantic storm, Manchester and the North West will be affected, and winds will start to pick up around 2pm and will slowly increase as the night goes on.
Ophelia will still be causing some issues on Tuesday morning, but nothing more than gusts of around 20mph, by the afternoon everything settles down again, winds will be light, but as the warm African air disappears, we will see temperatures go back to normal for this time of year.
The windy stormy weather will be back though, with a deepening low pressure system moving in off the atlantic for the weekend, you can keep up to date with all the weather by heading to Manchester Weather on Facebook.
