Champions League

Champions League draw is kind to Manchester United

English clubs avoided Real Madrid in the next round of the Champions League which will be played in the second week of February next year, however Chelsea has the hardest draw having being up paired with Lionel Messi’s Barcelona.

Manchester United play Seville which must be of some relief to the club although no game is easy at this stage, the Jabuary transfer window will dictate on how far United are to progress.

United are a team effort and not just one player, however without Pogba things go pear shaped, and only De Gea softening the blow, Mourinho has to buy a great player or two in the transfer window, his support of Lukaku is brilliant, however even Mourinho has to call into question on what has gone wrong and maybe even drop him for a few games.

In the Manchester City game, you could see Lukaku doing his best, he was trying to get things going, one pundit was correct saying he had no service, and needed a player alongside him, others are saying Mourinho has some players in the wrong position.

As for Manchester City, they have the manager and the rescources to win everything, and if they keep Guardiola and bring in even better players which is expected they will do, it will be a long time at the top for the club that was saved from more decades of mediocrocy middle east by suer rich owners, who have pumped in the money to not only get one if not the greatest club manager in the world, but a team that can win things for decades to come and a facilities around the Etihad stadium that are the envy of fans from all over the world.
