NYPD and fire crews respond after an explosion in Manhattan

NYPD (New York Police Department) and fire crews from New York rushed to Port Authority bus terminal in Manhattan after they calls of an explosion today December 11.


New York Fire Department are now saying four people was injured n the blast and was not badly hurt at 42nd St and 8th Avenue.

As a precaution police evacuated the area, and closed down subways until it was safe, roads were closed as a result.

The suspect, identified by the police as Akayed Ullah, 27, an immigrant from Bangladesh who lived in Brooklyn, was in serious condition at Bellevue Hospital Centre reported the NY Times.
