Storm Eleanor set to cause disruption overnight and tomorrow

Storm Eleanor is expected to cause some damage and disruption over most of the UK as it moves towards us from the atlantic.

Met office are saying to be prepared for winds of between 70 and 80 mph overnight which could bring down trees and in some places cause damage to power lines resulting in blackouts.

We have already had Storm Dylan over the festive period, although this tracked further north and we only got the rain and a bit of wind.

The winds will continue on during Wednesday as the storm tracks east.
