Air Pollution

Air Pollution is a major issue worldwide and governments need to take immediate action

We are all aware about the UK and its problems with pollution, and what the government is not doing to tackle it, and we all know local government have done little if anything to tackle what is a serious health crisis.

Thousands die early in the UK because of pollution from cars and industry, however if we looked wider, much wider and checked out what the rest of the world is like, you would be shocked!

We have taken pictures of the UK, Africa, India and Pakistan, also included is a picture of the Atlantic ocean, the more red the colour the more pollution there is, the blues and greens are very low pollution, we checked for PM2.5 and PM 10 which are particulates that cause serious damage to the lungs and have even been found in the brains of people who had died from pollution.

As you can see India and Pakistan are in trouble with the air they are breathing, even PM2.5 in India was all red! The US had some issues in places but generally blues and greens at the time we took these pictures.

In many places around the world we saw oceans with big red clouds of particulates, and many people may have thought pollution is only on the land, this proves without question that is false.

Governments of the world need to take drastic action to clean up our air, we have only one world and the need to look after it becomes more important each and every day.
