New Co-op foodstore to open in Sale early next month

A new co-op foodstore is to open in early April on Cross Street in Sale.

The store located in a newly built building very close to the Volunteer pub is expected to be very popular with residents that live above it and for all residents on that side of Cross Street.

It takes the number of co-operative foodstores to six in the Sale area all within a mile or so of each other.

Staff tells us that an opening day will be soon planned although it is expected to be much like the opening day for the new Washaway Road store further down the road.

Co-operative foodstore offers great value and rewards members with 5% on all own branded goods and some money to a chosen charity.
